To provide a durable cleaning tool preventing a polishing fabric/paper sheet from being separated even in sliding cleaning performed in a fluid environment.
The cleaning tool includes: a pad portion 12 held by one hand, having a flat main surface, and made of closed cell foam body; and the polishing fabric/paper sheet 14 stuck to the flat main surface 15 of the pad portion 12, and attached with fine polishing particles to slidingly remove stain on an object OB. End surfaces 16 and 17 in a sliding direction X of the pad portion 12 are provided with recessed portions 20, and the recessed portion 20 forms a projecting side portion 30 allowing the end side in the sliding direction X of the polishing fabric/paper sheet 14 to be bent toward the recessed portion 20 during sliding.
