PURPOSE: To provide a cleaning tool having an antibacterial property, excellent in hygiene, and abundant in mechanical durability at a low cost by providing a hygroscopic cleaning part formed with blended yarns of polyester fibers having a specific wt. value kneaded with an antibacterial ceramic and cotton having a specific wt. value.

CONSTITUTION: Many cord-like thick yarn tufts 13 are assembled into a fabric shape to form a mop 10, and a cleaning part containing water or a detergent for cleaning is constituted. A plurality of blended yarns are twisted to form the thick yarn tufts 13, and 24 blended yarns of No.20 are twisted, for example. Blended yarns of cotton which is natural fibers and polyester fibers kneaded with an antibacterial ceramic are used for the yarn tufts forming the thick yarn tufts 13. The blending ratio is set to be 15-60wt.% polyester fibers kneaded with the antibacterial ceramic based on the cotton of 40-85wt.% to obtain a hygroscopic property, a lipophilic property, sufficient thermal and mechanical strength, and an antibacterial property at a low cost.
