To provide a cleaning utensil for which the attaching/detaching operation of a cleaning sheet can easily and surely be performed while being a cleaning utensil which is used by attaching the cleaning sheet.
This cleaning utensil A is equipped with the cleaning sheet 1, and a cleaning body 2 which freely attachably/detachably holds the cleaning sheet. In the cleaning utensil A, the cleaning body has a main body 3 having a supporting surface 3a to which an intermediate section of the cleaning sheet abuts, on the lower surface section, a holding member 4 which is provided on the upper side section of the main body, and holds the cleaning sheet by making the end section of the cleaning sheet engaged, and a handle body 5 which is provided on the main body. The holding member is composed of a receiving hole section 7 in which the end section of the cleaning sheet is inserted, and a first locking body 9a and a second locking body 9b which are formed on a base body 8 being provided in a manner to cover the receiving hole section. The first locking body and the second locking body are respectively extended inward from both side sections of the base body, and respective ends of the extended locking bodies approach each other, or come into contact with each other. On both end sections of the locking bodies, a slit which is formed in parallel with the extending direction is provided.
