Title:
CLEANING VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003313839
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a cleaning vehicle capable of automatically and regularly sufficiently performing the cleaning of a floor surface side by use of forward traveling force, making a brush difficult to damage, and easily adapted for a transversely traveling style.

This cleaning vehicle comprises a cleaning work part 70 having a brush 72 rotatable through a vehicle lateral shaft 71 and a vacuum fan 80 on the body 62 side of a cleaning means 61 provided on the lower part of a vehicle body 2. This vehicle further comprises a groundable free roller 90 provided on the lower part of the body 2, and an interlocking means 100 for driving the brush 72 and the vacuum fan 80 by the rotating force of the free roller 90. The cleaning work can be performed by automatically forcedly rotating the brush and the vacuum fan by use of the rotation of the free roller based on forward traveling force, and the brush can be pressed onto the floor surface while being hardly damaged by regularly suitably keeping the pressurizing attitude by a desired contact pressure force. In a transverse traveling where a wheel is turned just beside, the brush is slid transversely in a weak contact state, and the damage of the brush can be thus minimized.
