To provide a cleaning web capable of preventing a fixing roller from being left in such a state that release agent is excessively applied on the surface of the fixing roller while preventing the toner from melt-sticking to the fixing roller, and to provide a cleaning unit and a fixing device.
The cleaning web 55 is used for the cleaning unit 50 to remove soil on the surface of the fixing roller 40. The cleaning web 55 has a first part and a second part. The first part is configured to have comparatively low impregnability for the release agent. The second part is configured to have comparatively high impregnability for the release agent. The impregnability for the release agent is adjusted by the intertwisting ratio of fibers, such as polyester, prepared to improve the oil impregnating efficiency, to fibers, such as polyamidoimide, prepared to improve the cleaning performance. The cleaning web 55 is configured so that the first part and the second part come in contact with the fixing roller in this order.
