Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject cleanser high in cleansability for paper powder and inks, and enabling to cleanse a printing machine in one process by including a specific ether compound, a specific lactic acid ester, a specific polyhydric alcohol and water.
SOLUTION: This cleanser comprises (A) a compound of formula I [R1 is a 1-6C hydrocarbon; (m) is an integer of 1-6], (B) a lactic acid ester of formula II [R2 is a 8-18C hydrocarbon), (C) a polyhydric alcohol (preferably ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc.), and (D) water. The component A is obtained by subjecting 1 mole of a 1-6C alcohol to the addition reaction of 1-6 moles of propylene oxide, and includes a propylene glycol monoalkyl ether and a dipropylene glycol monoalkyl ether. The cleanser preferably comprises 40-80 wt.% of the component A, 10-40 wt.% of the component B, 5-20 wt.% of the component C and 5-20 wt.% of the component D on the basis of the total weight of the components A-D.
