Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain characteristics as a first-grade door by fitting a clear crystal lizing plate glass having thermal expansion coefficient less than specific value in the range of the specific temperature in recesses formed in the insides of the perimeters of frame bodies.

CONSTITUTION: A clear crystallizing plate glass 11 having thermal expansion coefficient less than 10×10-7/°C in the range of the temperature of 30-380°C is fitted in recesses 15 and 15 formed in the inside of the perimeters of steel frame bodies 12 and 12. At that time, fire resisting fillers consisting of quartz glass fibers 13 and silicon sealant 14 are filled into gaps between the plate glass 11 and the recesses 15, the plate glass 11 is capable of moving in the recesses 15 in the case of heating. According to the constitution, the fire door can bear heating and impact tests for 60 minutes by a fire resisting heating curve designated by the Ministry of Construction.
