Abstract:

To provide a solid cleanser which is economical and does not irritate eyes.

This solid cleanser composition is economical, has an excellent bubbling property, and scarcely irritates eyes and skins. The composition comprises dibenzylidene sorbitol as a gelling agent, a glycol solvent, and anionic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants for giving a washing force. The composition may contain hydroxypropyl cellulose as a solidifying synergist.
