Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make such a high-grade square brazing material that produces no galling between a die and a punch and nothing of a burr and a flash securable, by producing a cemented carbide tip classified by plate thickness of the hooplike brazing material or raw material for the square plate brazing material, and attaching the required tip to the groove installed the punch.

CONSTITUTION: A cemented carbide tip 11 is produced as classified by plate thickness of a hooplike brazing material 1 or raw material for a square plate brazing material 5, and the required tip is attached to the groove installed in a punch 3, whereby a clearance with a die 2 is set so as to accord with the hooplike plate thickness to be cut. Thus, only the cemented carbide tip 11 conformed to the plate thickness of the hooplike brazing material 1 is attached to the groove 10 installed in the punch 3, adjustments for the clearance between the punch 3 and the die 2 can be done easily and accurately. Therefore, when the hooplike brazing material 1 is cut and the square brazing material 5 is produced, the die 2 and the punch 3 will not gall into the brazing material, so that such a high-grade square plate brazing material that is nothing of a burr and a flash is securable.
