PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the performance of a compressor by making both a clearance at the time of starting and a clearance at the time of stationary state small, in regard to a clearance control method by means of cooling the disc of the air compressor.
SOLUTION: Cavities 11 through 13 are disposed in order in the axial direction in the rear stage of the disc 2 of a compressor 1 so as to communicate with holes 21 through 33 respectively. A part of compressed air delivered out the compressor 1 is cooled by a cooler so as to be led to the disc 2 as cooling air. Cooling air 30 passes through the holes 21 through 33 so as to flow the inside of the rear stage of the disc 2, heat outside is transferred inside so as to allow air after cooling to be led to a gas turbine, so that air is thereby supplied for sealing a clearance between the static blade 5-1 of the gas turbine and a rotor blade 5-2 for cooling the rotor blade 5-2. Both a clearance between a casing and each rotor blade in the early stage, and the clearance at the time of slatimary state can be made small by ventilating the disc 2 with air for cooling, so that the performance of the compressor can thereby enhanced.
