Abstract:
To provide a clearance detection device with a simple structure, which allows an irradiator and a detector to be quickly installed even when measuring a plurality of seaming chucks and seaming rolls and which can suppress an increase in load and work time of an operator.SOLUTION: A clearance detection device 100 includes an irradiator 111 and a detector 112 capable of detecting irradiation light B1 emitted from the irradiator 111. The irradiator 111 and the detector 112 are mounted at a main body 110 and the main body 110 is mounted between a seaming chuck SC and a lifter plate P in a fixable manner. The irradiator 111 is provided in such a manner that the irradiation light B1 can pass between the seaming chuck SC and seaming rolls R1, R2. The detector 112 is provided in a manner to be able to receive passing light B2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
