Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a determination of the correct location of hypodermic or intradermal vaccination of activated substances by providing the applicator with a means of giving a visible mark. CONSTITUTION: Multiple needles parallel to one another or sharp teeth 26 jut forth from a handle 16 beyond a protrusion 24 ready for carrying out an intradermal or hypodermic vaccination of activated substances. When an activated 43 is vaccinated against a patient's skin, a member for vaccination 12 is taken from a cap member 14 and a head 18 is brought into contact with a patient's skin 48. Concurrently, by contact with the surface of an absorbent ring, the protrusion part 24 wet with marking liquid is engaged with the exterior surface of the skin and a pattern corresponding to the pattern of the protrusion part 24 is formed on the skin. Thus, by providing a visible mark adjacent to the location of a vaccination, a subsequent easier identification of the vaccination is made possible.
