Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely clamp tissue by forming the clamping part of a clip to make an acute angle or an obtuse with the longitudinal direction of the arm part.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of claw parts 19a, 19b of a clip 13 are located at the respective forward ends of arm parts 13c, 13c', and the claw parts 19a, 19b are bent to make acute angles, for example, with the longitudinal direction (central axis 20) to form the clamping parts 13d, 13d'. An expanding habit is applied to the arm parts 13c, 13c' of the clip 13 in such a manner as to expand the clamping parts 13d, 13d'. When an operation wire is drawn, the arm parts 13c, 13c' of the clip 13 are brought into contact with the clip clamping ring 15, and further, the arm parts 13c, 13c' are drawn in the ring 15, so that the arm parts 13c, 13c' close and the clamping parts 13d, 13d' clamp the tissues of a living body. Thus, the tissues of a living body can surely be clamped and the clamping state can be maintained.
