Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable mounting of a toilet seat firmly without using a tool even at a small place by providing a nut made up of more than one semi-cylinder bodies allowed to be screwed down on a bolt and attaching an operating member thereto to make each semi-cylinder body contact or separate from it in a clip for linking the toilet seat to link the toilet seat on a toilet.
CONSTITUTION: When a toilet seat 2 is mounted on a toilet 1, firstly, a head part 3a of a bolt 3 is inserted into an engaging chamber 6a on the side of the toilet seat 2. Then, a shaft part 3b of the bolt 3 is inserted into a bolt inserting hole 15 of the toilet 1 and a rubber bush 6 and a resin washer 7 are inserted into the shaft part 3b protruded from below the toilet 1. Then, a link clip 8 is mounted on the bolt 3 while a nut 10 made up of a pair of semi-cylinder bodies 19a and 19b is pressed on the side of a rubber bush 6 and a knob 11 is moved axially to the nut 10. As a result, the link clip is engaged to be positioned with the nut 10 screwed down on the bolt 3. For further tightening, the knob 11 is turned to tighten the nut 10 on the bolt 3.
