Abstract:
To provide a clip for a wrist band preventing a patient (especially, an infant) from swallowing even when the clip comes off.SOLUTION: A clip 10 for a wrist band made of a resin with band holes formed on both ends comprises: a male clip body 12; a female clip body 14; a hinge 16 connecting both bodies in a foldable manner; pins 18 which are formed on the male clip body and are inserted into the band holes; umbrella-shaped heads 22 formed on the apexes of the pins; locking pieces 24 radially formed on the outer periphery of the pins, and locking the circumferences of the band holes through which the pins are inserted to stop coming-off; housing holes 30 formed on the female clip body and storing the pins; hemispherical flap parts 32 formed on the inside and formed by swelling so as to project in the insertion direction of the pins; pin holes 34 formed on the center and formed in almost the same diameter as the external diameter of the pins; and slits 36 radially formed on the flap part and enabling expansion/contraction of the pin holes due to elastic deformation of the flap parts.
