Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress exceeding the normal level of noise by providing a VCO (voltage control oscillator) within an option board, etc., mounted on a computer system and performing the control to different clock frequencies, regarding a clock frequency shifting method shifting the clock frequency of a board.
CONSTITUTION: Option boards 11 having VCOs generating a clock frequency are mounted on a computer system, different voltage is supplied to the VCOs, etc., of these mounted option boards 11, respectively, from a reference voltage generator 15, the VOCs supply different clock frequencies to the CPU of each option board 11 and is formed so as to prevent superposition.
