PURPOSE: To obtain a clock having a drawer capable of easily and smoothly performing the drawing or pushing operation of it by constituting the drawer able to be moved in the vertical direction in a case equipped with the clock.

CONSTITUTION: A drawer 2 is inserted in the rear section of a case 1 equipped with a clock so that the drawer 2 can be moved in the vertical direction and a spring 3 is extended between a stop of the case 1 and a bottom of the drawer 2 so as to pull the drawer upward. A speed-reduction device 4 that reduced the lifting speed of the drawer and an intermittent fixing device 5 are provided between the case 1 and drawer 2. The drawer 2 is disposed among the case 1, a housing section 6 and a rear cover 12 and is pulled upward by means of a projection projected to the outside from the bottom end section and the spring 3 hooked to a suspending section 9 on a top section of the case 1 and can be slidably moved in the vertical direction along guide rails 8, 8 of the case 1. The device 4 reduces the lifting speed of the drawer 2 projected by the elastic force of the spring 3 and the device 5 stops the drawer to the case 1 against the repulsion power of the spring 3.
