PURPOSE: To still more enhance sleep inducing effect, by gradually attenuating the sound amount of a sleep inducing melody with the elaspse of time.

CONSTITUTION: A favorite melody for enhancing sleep inducing effect is selected by a music selecting switch SE1 and an alarming melody is selected by a music selecting switch SE2. When a set switch PS is closed at the time of sleeping, a sleep inducing melody signal is generated from a melody circuit M and a timer circuit TM is operated. The melody is sounded during the time set by the timer circuit TM and the sound amount is gradually attenuated by a sound amount control circuit VL. When an alarm switch AS is closed at the next morning, an alarming melody signal is sounded from the melody circuit M by the output from an integrated circuit CL.
