Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for amplifying followed by cloning a nucleic acid sequence contained in a test sample.
CONSTITUTION: Starting from a given DNA or RNA sequence, any specific nucleic acid sequence in amounts greater than those existing in the initial stage is formed and then cloned; wherein the DNA or RNA may be single- or double- stranded one, or may be relatively pure or one component of a nucleic acid mixture. In this method, the reaction is repeated in order to attain the desired nucleic acid sequence amplification, thereby the target nucleic acid sequence can be effectively cloned from minute amounts of a sample.
