Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a close coupled type pump in which the rotation of a main shaft is safely and simply restrained and an impeller can be conveniently and surely removed and installed.
SOLUTION: In a close coupled type pump in which a motor 12 and a pump part 14 using a main shaft 10 in common, are integrally incorporated with each other, being adjacent to each other, a partition wall 30 being interposed therebetween, and impellers 32a, 32b are attached to the pump part side end part of the main shaft 10 by means of an impeller blade retaining nut 34, rotation checking parts 10b, 10b which can be engaged therein with a tool, are formed in the pump part side part, and an opening 20a through which the tool is inserted, is formed in a casing of the motor part 12, corresponding to the rotation checking parts.
