To provide a closed compressor having a connection part reinforced by making flat the outer surface of a closed container near insert holes for inserting a suction pipe and a discharge pipe therein, forming burring parts in a direction from the outside to the inside of the insert hole, and connecting the suction and discharge pipes to the roots of the burring parts by brazing.
In this closed compressor, a motor and a compression part 2 are disposed in the closed container 1, the inside of the closed container 1 is divided into a discharge chamber in which compressive refrigerant is discharged from the outlet of the compression part 2 and a motor chamber 2a for storing the motor, the suction pipe 10 for leading sucked refrigerant is connected to the suction chamber of the compression part 2, and the discharge pipe 11 for discharging the compressive refrigerant is connected to the motor chamber 2a. The insert holes 12 and 12a for inserting the suction pipe 10 and the discharge pipe 11 therein are installed in the closed container 1, the outer surface of the closed container 1 near the insert holes 12 and 12a are formed in flat surfaces 13 and 13a, and burring is applied to the insert holes 12 and 12a from the outside to the inside to form the burring parts 14 and 14a. The suction pipe 10 and the discharge pipe 11 are connected to the roots of the burring parts 14 and 14a by brazing 16.
