Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the flexibility of a generating plant in the control of the operation of the plant by preparing a combustion gas bypass unit for heating in a high temperature heat exchanger, thereby allowing the free temperature distribution of the exhchanger. CONSTITUTION:A bypass tube 16 is provided at the top of a high temperature heat exchanger 5. A heat exchanger 17 is provided at the downstream of the tube 16, and constructed to preheat combustion air. The tube 16 is mounted at the top of a heat accumulator 7 of the exchanger 5. An exhaust gas control valve 18 and a bypass control valve 19 are respectively attached to an exhaust gas tube and the bypass tube 16. While the temperature of the work fluid fed from the bottom to the exhcnager 5 is low, the valve 18 of the exchanger 5 is throttled, and the valve 19 is opened, thereby eliminating the passage of the combustion gas produced in a burner 6 to the accumulator 7, but introducing it out of the exchanger 5 through the tube 16.
