PURPOSE: To reduce noise and vibration by forming a film such as a melanin group film or an electrodeposited film on the peripheral parts of the upper end plate, lower end plate and drum of a compressor, and then applying powder coating, obtained by adding a foaming agent and a filler to denatured epoxy and polyethylene so as to be copolymerized foamingly, onto the film.
CONSTITUTION: A closed type compressor 1, formed of an upper end plate 2, a lower end plate 3, a drum 4, a supporting base 5 and a gas-liquid separator 6, is provided with a compressor element 7 and a motor element 8 accommodated therein, and compresses low-temperature low-pressure gas refrigerant, sucked through the gas-liquid separator 6, into high-temperature high-pressure gas refrigerant by the compressor element 7. In this case, a film 10 such as a melanin group film, an electrodeposited film or a film formed by copolymerizing and baking denatured epoxy and polyethylene is formed on the whole face or a part of the peripheral part of the closed type compressor 1, and then powder coating 11, obtained by adding a foaming agent and a filler to denatured epoxy and polyethylene so as to be copolymerized foamingly, is applied on the film 10. Vibration generated from the compressor 1 is thereby damped to obtain vibration-isolating and sound-insulating effect.
