Abstract:
To attain improvement of energy efficiency (COP), relating to a suction muffler of a closed type electric compressor.
The compressor has an inlet pipe 31 provided with a gas suction port 30 in an upper part of a suction muffler 28, a communication pipe 29 is formed into an L shape, further its one end and one end of the inlet pipe 31 are opposed to each other, moreover by setting an opening area of the communication pipe 29 larger than an opening area of the inlet pipe 31, suction efficiency is improved.
