PURPOSE: To prevent environmental pollution by using fluorocarbon as refrigerant and alkylbenzene oil of specified viscosity at specific temperature as refrigerator oil in a closed type horizontal rotary compressor for refrigerating and air-conditioning equipment of the specified evaporating temperature or lower, and providing a bearing with an injection hole to inject liquid refrigerant into a cylinder.
CONSTITUTION: An injection hole 22 connected to a liquid refrigerant suction pipe 21 is provided at the wall surface of a cylinder chamber 10a. This injection hole 22 is provided in one bearing 6, and a liquid refrigerant passage 22a communicated with the cylinder chamber l0a is branched from around the terminal of a refrigerant passage 22b. Refrigerant gas moving up by the rotation of a rotor 6 is thereby cooled by liquid refrigerant jetted from the injection hole 22. Alkylbenzene oil of 50-65cSt in viscosity at 40°C and 5.5-6.5cSt in viscosity at 100°C is used as refrigerator oil. The lowering of two-phase separating temperature of fluorocarbon (Freon) 22 is thus performed to prevent an oil shortage phenomenon at the evaporating temperature of 10°C or lower.
