Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closer device for a sliding door that prevents for certain a rebounding phenomenon and jumping-up phenomenon when a door body is closed.SOLUTION: A closer device for a sliding door includes: a door body 1 movable in a lengthwise direction of a horizontal frame material 3 of a sliding door; a fixing member 20 provided on the door body 1 and one of the horizontal frame materials 3; a stopper pin 11 provided on the door body 1 and the other of the horizontal frame materials 3; a slider 22 movable in a lengthwise direction with regard to the fixing member 20; a trigger member 21 provided on the slider 22 and engageable with the stopper pin 11; an elastic closing member 23 for energizing the fixing member 20 and the slider 22 in a direction to come close to each other; a cushioning mechanism 40 for reducing a speed of relative movement when the fixing member 20 and the slider 22 move relatively in the direction to come close to each other; and an auxiliary cushioning mechanism 50 for reducing the speed of relative movement of the fixing member 20 and the slider 22 and having cushioning force different from the cushioning mechanism 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
