To prevent a cover body from falling into an inspection hole, and to facilitate the setting of a position to receive the cover body, which enables the cover body to be positioned almost in the center of the inspection hole, with respect to a receiving implement for receiving the cover body.
This closing device for the inspection hole is equipped with the receiving implement 3 which is provided in a hole wall 2 of the inspection hole 1, and the cover body 4 which is received by the receiving implement 3 so as to close the inspection hole 1. The cover body 4 is supported in a predetermined position of the inspection hole 1 via a positioning pin 67 which is provided in the receiving implement 3 in a positionally adjustable manner. The closing device is also equipped with a fall prevention implement 24 for preventing the cover body 4 from intruding into the inspection hole 1. The implement 24 is equipped with a positioning part for arranging the positioning pin 67 in the predetermined position.
