Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing device for a vehicle capable of preventing burnout of a motor due to overcurrent without using a thermistor.SOLUTION: A opening/closing device for a vehicle for opening/closing an opening/closing body provided in a vehicle includes an electric motor for driving the opening/closing body, a position detection unit for detecting the position of the opening/closing body, a measurement unit for measuring a value of current flowing in the electric motor when the opening/closing body reaches a predetermined position, a counter for counting up a count value on the basis of the current value, and a determination unit for stopping an opening/closing movement of the opening/closing body for a determined period of time next time and thereafter when the count value exceeds a first threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
