Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switchgear capable of completely shutting down an electric current by driving and extending an arc in a different direction for an increased arc resistance without depending on an arc spot position of an arc parted by a drive plate.SOLUTION: The switchgear includes: a stationary contact; a movable contact disposed to face the stationary contact; and a drive plate disposed at a crossing position of an arc current to shut down an arc current generated between the stationary contact and the movable contact when the stationary contact and the movable contact separate from each other. The drive plate has a first portion disposed on the stationary contact side and a second portion disposed on the movable resistance side and is structured so that such an ar current flows in the same direction at the first portion and the second portion of the drive plate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
