Abstract:
To provide a closure member for a container having an improved barrier property, and a using method of the same.
The closure member is a twist-crown, crown-cork or screw cap and includes a sealing member including (a) a thermoplastic polymer and (b) a cyclodextrin material of 0.01 to 5 wt.% by making the above thermoplastic polymer as a standard and has excellent barrier property to permeating substances such as impurities in an aromatic compound, particularly tri-chloro-anisole, aldehyde or ketone and a polymer. Moreover, the cyclodextrin material is selected from the group consisting of -cyclodextrin, -cyclodextrin, -cyclodextrin, -cyclodextrin derivaive, -cyclodextrin derivative, -cyclodextrin derivative and mixtures of them.
