Abstract:
To obtain a cloth having improved touch, durability and control effect and suitable for the covers of tennis balls, etc., by disposing a felt-made outer surface comprising interlaced fibers and imparting three-dimensional patterns on the outer surface.
This cloth is used for the covers of tennis balls, and has a felt-made outer surface comprising interlaced fibers. Three-dimensional patterns such as a pattern continuously comprising depressed regions and non-depressed regions are imparted to the outer surface. The cloth comprises a woven fabric comprising interlaced warps and wefts. The three-dimensional pattern is preferably formed by changing the interlacing frequency of the warps with the wefts.
