To provide a cloth cutting device for a sewing machine by which cloth waste between a metal eyelet knife and a straight knife is removed.

The device includes a cloth cutting knife 100 having the metal eyelet knife 101 and the straight knife 102 and a knife receiver 160 arranged to face the cloth cutting knife, having a metal eyelet knife receiving part 160b and a straight knife receiving part 160c. The device also includes: a knife part through-hole 101e arranged in the metal eyelet knife; a knife receiving part through-hole 160a arranged in the metal eyelet knife receiving part to be communicated with the knife part through-hole when the metal eyelet knife meets the metal eyelet knife receiving part; and a punch piece removing means which includes air discharge means 77a, 77b for discharging air when both the through-holes are successively joined so as to discharge the punch piece of a metal eyelet part to an outer part. The device also comprises: mobile means 108, 110 for moving one of the metal eyelet knife and the straight knife with respect to the other; and a cloth waste removing means for discharging air by the air discharge means so as to remove cloth waste stored between both the knives, in connection with a condition where the movable one is separated from the other.
