Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cloth roller-feeding device used for a cloth roller- exchanging device disposed in a loom and compacted in the whole body of the device.
CONSTITUTION: A cloth roller guide 20 capable of supporting and holding both the end mandrels of an empty cloth roller and releasing the empty cloth roller on the basis of an exchange signal is disposed between a surface roller 1 and winding-driving rollers 5, 6 in a tilted posture. While the mandrels of the released cloth roller is supported with a lifting or lowering block 16 vertically moving along a vertical guide plate 11, the released cloth roller is guided onto the winding driving rollers 5, 6. The lifting or lowering block is connected to one end of a chain wound on a chain sprocket 18, and the other end is attached to a balance weight 19. Thereby, the empty cloth roller is guided at a slow speed to prevent its damage, and a cloth roller guide, etc., do not project from the main body of the loom to compact the whole body of the device.
