Abstract:

To provide a reproducible adsorption material which is capable of selectively and efficiently adsorbing cesium and can be recycled by dissolving adsorbed cesium, and a manufacturing method thereof.

Unwoven fabric comprised of polyethylene (PE)/polypropylene (PP) is irradiated with electron beams and the PE/PP unwoven fabric irradiated with electron beams is brought into contact with a monomer solution comprised of acrylonitrile (AN), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), Tween80 (polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate) as a surfactant, AMP (phosphomolybdenic ammonium) as an inorganic ion exchanger, and the inorganic ion exchanger (AMP) is directly carried by a nonionic graft chain.
