To provide a cloth-tentering device hardly requiring tentering two portions of a processing fabric on the way of embroidery processing again, and capable of efficiently carrying out the embroidery processing of the two portions.

This cloth-tentering device has an attaching frame 2 capable of being detachably attached to a cloth-feeding member 22 of a embroidery machine, and the first tentering frame 3 and the second tentering frame 5 for tentering the first portion and the second portion of a sock hung on one part and the other part of the attaching frame 2 respectively through string bodies 4 and 6 as connecting members. The first tentering frame 3 and the second tentering frame 5 comprise detachably fitting inner frames 8 and outer frames 9, and the combination of a steel plate 15 of each of the inner frames and a permanent magnet 14 of the attaching frame 2 constitutes a holding means for alternatively holding the first tentering frame 3 and the second tentering frame 5 at the closing position keeping contact with the attaching frame 2. The first tentering frame 3 and the second tentering frame 5 are connected to a distance-keeping member 18 through string bodies 16 and 17.
