PURPOSE: To easily transfer even a soft and new raw material without any need of a manual work by providing a cloth transfer machine for carrying cloth to the press with a transfer belt drive section capable of being driven and stopped independent of the transfer belt mechanism of a cloth press.

CONSTITUTION: The major section of a cloth transfer system is formed out of a press 1 for bonding, for example, the interlining of a cloth material and parts such as surface cloth to each other under the application of heat and pressure, and a transfer machine 2 for feeding the parts to the press 1. Furthermore, the press 1 has upper and lower belts 7 and 8 wound around each of upper and lower, and front and rear rollers 3 to 6, and upper and lower heaters 9 are laid at both sides of the close contact section of the belts and rollers. In this case, the transfer machine 2 has a power transmission mechanism J formed out of a timing pulley 16 connected to a motor 14, a plurality of timing belts 13a an 13b, and front and rear pulleys 17 and 18. In addition, front and rear belts 11 and 12 are wound around front and rear rollers 36 and 37 connected to the pulleys 17 and 18, thereby forming front and rear transfer belt mechanisms K and L.
