PURPOSE: To provide a clothes drier capable of shortening the drying time of clothes by emitting vapor to the outside of a device and drying the clothes when humidity at the outside of the device is low and a user can allow the vapor to be emitted or when it is used in a place where the vapor can be emitted around.

CONSTITUTION: When it is judged that the humidity of outdoor air measured by a humidity sensor 25 is lower than set humidity set beforehand and a measured temperature measured by a temperature sensor 18 is equal to or higher than a set temperature inside a drying room set beforehand, a first damper 27 and a second damper 29 are controlled so as to open an outdoor air take-in port 26 and an inner air discharge port 28. Also, regardless of the humidity, when the measured temperature is lower than the set temperature, the first damper 27 and the second damper 29 are controlled so as to close the outdoor air take-in port 26 and the inner air discharge port 28.
