To provide a clothes dryer for a bathroom wherein clothes are dried by a minimum amount of heat according to a target finish time.
The clothes dryer 1 for a bathroom includes a ventilation fan 2, a blowing fan 6, a heater 11, a lid 12, an operation portion 13, an infrared sensor 14, a thermometer 15, and a controller 17. An user sets a target finish time tg to dry clothes, and starts operation. The controller 17 determines whether clothes drying slowest reach the limit of drying ratio or not based on the lowest temperature of the clothes detected by the infrared sensor 14, and when the clothes reach the limit of drying ratio, it is determined whether the clothes drying slowest turn dried by the target finish time tg from the time required so far. Only when a finish time to dry the clothes drying slowest, which is predicted by the controller 17, is over the target finish time, the heater 11 is operated according to the overtime, and the clothes are dried to minimize the amount of heat required.
