Abstract:
PURPOSE: To discriminate a lump state of clothes being apt to become a lump state such as a bed sheet and a towelket, and a small quantity of clothes, in the clothes dryer for drying clothes by allowing hot air to circulate into a rotary drum.
CONSTITUTION: Hot air is allowed to circulate into a rotary drum 1 for drying clothes by a heat exchange type both blade fan, a PTC heater 3 is provided in a ventilation path to the inside of the rotary drum 1, and the rotary drum 1 and the heat exchange type both blade fan are driven to rotate by a motor 5. A revolving speed of the rotary drum 1 is detected by a rotation detecting means 7, a temperature of circulating air is detected by a temperature detecting means 6 for detecting a temperature in the rotary drum 1, and by a control means 9, a revolving speed of the motor 5 and the PTC heater 3 are controlled. The control means 9 controls the revolving speed of the rotary drum 1 in accordance with a drying operation initial process, a clothes state detecting process or a drying operation process, and in the clothes state detecting process for executing variable control of the revolving speed of the rotary drum 1 to a high speed, the kind of clothes or a state of clothes is detected by a variation of a detected temperature of the temperature detecting means 6.
