To provide a clothes drying apparatus with an oscillation function capable of oscillating a pole with a small quantity of power consumption by utilizing pendular motion, and capable of facilitating the speed of drying clothes.
The clothes drying apparatus 1 with the oscillation function includes a casing 2 fixed to a ceiling; the pole 3; a hanger 4 made of a rigid body, rotatably connected to the pole 3; a motor 5 for rotating the hanger 4; a switch 8; and a controller 9. When the switch 8 gives a command to oscillate the pole 3, the controller 9 first rotates the motor 5 to tilt the hanger 3, and the hanger raises the pole 3. Next, the controller stops the motor 5 to make the pole 3 start the pendular motion. After that, the controller 9 detects the rotation angle of the motor 5, rotates the motor 5 again when the pole 3 passes through the lowest point for the second time, and raises the pole to the same position as the initial position. By repeating the above motions, the pole 3 is made to perform the continuous pendular motion, so that drying of the clothes hung on the pole 3 is facilitated with a small quantity of power consumption.
