To provide a clothes drying and lifting apparatus with excellent outside appearance, having a case of such height as to allow its storage in a space under the roof, and capable of blowing air from just above a pole.
The clothes drying and lifting apparatus 1 with the blower function lifts the pole 6 by a wire 7, a take-up device 8 and a support 9, and blows air toward the clothes by a blower fan 10, a motor 11 and a casing 12. The casing 12 is disposed so that the vicinity of the center of an air outlet is located on the vertical plane including the support 9, and a notch 16 is provided in an area of a side plate 15 through which the pole passes. Accordingly, the pole 6 can be stored in an air outlet path 17 as shown in Fig.1(c), and the case 2 can be stored in the space under the roof. The pole 6 is in the state as shown in Fig.1(b) when the clothes are hung, and the clothes can be efficiently dried with wind blown from the blower fan 10 from the front. The width of the case 2 in the cross direction is equivalent to the width of the casing 12 in the cross direction, so that the outside appearance is fine as seen from the interior.
