Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely identify, when rotation trouble occurs in a rotating drum and an air feed/exhaust fan driven by a common drive motor, whether it is malfunction in the motor, malfunction in the drum alone or malfunction in the fan alone as quickly as possible and display it.
SOLUTION: This clothes drying machine is so constituted that, when a first set time YT1 passes with no rotation pulse generated from the rotating drum, a drum malfunction flag FD is set to 1. When a second set time YT2 (<YT1) passes with no rotating pulse generated from the rotating drum, a fan malfunction flag FF is set to 1. When a waiting time ΔT of a time difference between YT1 and YT2 passes in FF=1 and if FD=1, it is determined to be a motor malfunction and if not, it is determined to be malfunction in the fan alone. On the other hand, when FD=1 in a state of FF≠1, it is determined to be the malfunction in the drum alone.
