PURPOSE: To provide clothes excellent in feeling and wearability, capable of beautifully adjusting the shape of abdomen, having abdomen-pressing pieces of relatively simple structure and easily producible.

CONSTITUTION: This is a girdle having the following structure. A cloth 1 covering almost central part of abdomen is stretchable at least in lateral direction. Abdomen-pressing pieces 2 consisting of a core material are attached on the region from the lower side than the navel to the higher side than the pubis of a wearer and in the vicinity of the edges of rectus abdominis muscle with upper sides open are attached on the cloth 1. A cloth 3 covering the peripheral part of the abdomen is attached surrounding the periphery of the abdomen with the exception of the upper part of the cloth 1. A body cloth 4 covering the front sides and the back side is attached on the cloth 3. And, a crotch 5 is attached on the body cloth 4. The girdle gives little feeling of pressure on the abdomen, free from intrusion of the abdomen-pressing pieces 2 into a part of body even in the case of sitting and bending forward and has little feeling of physical disorder such as pressure on the lower part of the abdomen.
