Abstract:
To provide a cluster mill the installation, the maintenance and the inspection of which are easy and roll marks are less prone to be transferred on a rolled stock.
This cluster mill is applied to a cluster mill having a pair of center back-up rolls 6, 6 which are arranged in the vertical direction of the work roll 1 and provided with a reduction mechanism for vertically reducing the center back-up roll 6 and a driving device for oscillating ( moving right and left ) the center back-up roll in the axial direction of the roll.
