Abstract:
To provide an actuator which is miniaturizable while gaining a great reduction ratio.
The actuator comprises an electric motor 32, sliding gear reduction mechanisms 34, 35 for reducing the speed of output rotation of the electric motor 32, gear reduction mechanisms 35, 36 for reducing the speed of output rotation of the sliding gear reduction mechanisms, an output rod 31 for stroking with the output rotation of the gear reduction mechanisms to give engaging/disengaging and semi-joining operation to a friction clutch 20 with the stroking, and an assist spring 37 supported at one end on a housing 33 and supported at the other end to assist the rotation of gear members 36 of the gear reduction mechanisms.
