To efficiently transmit power without stress and vibration at a time of engine start and power transmission by separating release of braking and transmission of power by a centrifugal clutch in a pre-stage of a clutch-in point and to increase safety by surely applying braking force when it is required in a clutch brake device for a small engine.
A brake mechanism part 9 consists of an engagement inclined surface 6 provided on an outer circumference of a clutch drum 3 arranged on a passive side of an output shaft 1 of an engine E and a friction plate 8 provided with an engaged inclined surface part 7 with which the engagement inclined surface can be engaged by friction. A power transmission mechanism part 5 consists of a clutch shoe 2 capable of engaging in the clutch drum 3 by friction and including a control means 10 and a pushing plate 12 via a return spring 11. At a time of power transmission, the clutch shoe 2 is engaged with the pushing plate 12 by friction by a control means 10 after release of braking, at a time of disengagement, the brake mechanism part 9 is engaged by friction and is adjusted after release of engagement of the clutch by the control means 10.
