Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce change-over load to an engine and smoothly engageably disengage a clutch without lowering the rotational frequency of the engine by rotating a pressure plate by a predetermined amount in the rotational direction of a rotor when the clutch is engageably disengaged. CONSTITUTION:When a clutch lining 19 contacts a clutch disk 10, a lining plate 17 starts to rotate while sliding to provide a neutral condition. Then, since a pressure plate 22 is not completely spaced from the clutch lining 19, the turning forces of the clutch disk 10 and the lining plate 17 are transmitted to the pressure plate 22 which is dragged by the turning force and rotatably escapes in the rotational direction of the lining plte 17 enough amount to fill up a predetermined gap l between a slot 27 and a straight shaft portion 26a of a fixed pin 26.
