Abstract:

PURPOSE: To absorb large deceleration energy by disconnecting a clutch and connecting an energy recovery clutch when an accelerator signal is off and a brake signal is on, and connecting the energy recovery clutch during a preset elapsed time even after the brake signal is off.
CONSTITUTION: A clutch control device comprises a clutch operating means adapted to conduct the connection and disconnection of a clutch 4 for intermittently connecting an engine 2 to a driving wheel in parallel by a manual operation system including a master cylinder 23 and an automatic operation system including a first selector valve 35 controlled by a controller 8. A driving system is provided with a deceleration energy recovery mechanism 7 driven through a recovery clutch 6 with a second selector valve 36. When an accelerator signal is off and a brake signal is on, the clutch 4 is disconnected and the recovery clutch 6 is connected to recover energy, and on the other hand, energy is similarly recovered also during a preset elapsed time after the accelerator signal is off and the brake signal is switched to off.
