A lock-up clutch mechanism 8 includes: a first friction plate 83 engaged with a clutch hub 81 fixed to a front cover 3; a second friction plate 84 engaged with a clutch drum 82 connected to an input shaft of a transmission; and a lock-up piston 80 moving in an axial direction relative to the front cover 3 and capable of pressing the first and second friction plates 83, 84. A plurality of outer recesses 34o extending radially are formed on an outer surface of a sidewall 34 of the front cover 3. A plurality of inner recesses 34i are formed on an inner surface of the sidewall 34 so as to be positioned at an inner side between the adjacent outer recesses 34o. A set plate 36 is fixed to the outer recesses 34o, and a clutch hub 81 is fixed to the inner recesses 34i.
