To provide a clutch device restricting application of a load to a driving means and also restricting a height of an output shaft.
This clutch device 40 has: an output shaft 38; a pinion gear 92; a first clutch member 94 extended from the pinion gear 92 in one way in the radial direction of the output shaft 38; a spring holder 96 fixed to the output shaft 38 and extended in one way in the radial direction of the output shaft 38; a projecting member 108 and a coil spring 98 housed in the spring holder 96; and a recessed part 112 formed in the first clutch member 94. When a load exceeding driving force is applied to the output shaft 38, the projecting member 108 is removed from the recessed part 112 and the output shaft 38 is idly rotated. This structure prevents application of a load to a motor body 32. Since a driving force by the clutch device 40 is transmitted in the radial direction of the output shaft 38, the height of the output shaft is lowered.
